Barry M is one of my go to brands for anything Nail related. The quality you get for the price rivals any other brand out there. All 4 Barry M nail formula’s are long-lasting, and have a great finish. As I am that person who spends £20 on a manicure only to chip it on the bus home, any little helps. And of course, let’s not forget the main attraction to the Barry M counter? Their range of colours! Perfect if you want to snap something up to go with an outfit – or want to try something new you’re not sure you’ll like after 10 minutes.
I am completely obsessed with the pretty pinks in their new Gelly and Speedy ranges. So many cute pastels and pinks. The Acai smoothie Gelly is maybe my favourite, as it’s a little a bit stronger but with the range of nudes and pinks in this collection you’ll be sorted for the year. Particularly as they are only £3.99 a bottle.
Being the impatient person that I am, I have been investing in the Speedy polishes since they launched last year. I mean – my nails are dry in a second which make’s it a lot easier for me to not smudge or chip them immediately.
The Sunset collection deserve all the attention they get. They really are as similar to Gel nails as you can get at home, and one step up from the Gelly’s in their finish thanks to the daylight curing topcoat. Although I am a nude and red kinda gal, I love these colours in the launch – they aren’t something I would wear at the moment but as we head into summer (fingers crossed) I definitely plan on being a bit more adventurous, and the blue and green will be great for that – maybe the pink can ease me in?
I’d never tried any Barry M product that wasn’t nail related before. I was pleasantly surprised by this brow kit. Definitely one to rival Benefit’s Brow Zings except that it also includes a highlighter for use under the brow. It now comes in two colours – so people with light or dark brows can give it a go! Huzzah!
I must admit that I am more of a quick bit of mascara and out the door girl than one who has ever even wanted to even try contouring. However if that is your thing this palette looks like it will do the trick when on a budget. Even better it now comes in a medium to dark skin tones colour set, something that not enough brands think about if you ask me!
I absolutely am obsessed with Barry M nails all year round, but their spring launch has got me very excited indeed. It has also opened my eyes to trying some of their makeup products in the future, as that brow kit is pretty amazing for the price – and really – we don’t all have £20 to spend on making our brows a little bit darker, do we? And if we can get the same finish for the fraction of the price, then we’ll definitely try!
The spring collection is being launched in Boot’s and Superdrug throughout February – many of the nails can already be found in stores. So keep an eye out!
These products were given to me for review by Barry M – however, as always, all thoughts, feels, opinions, and nude-nail obsession are my own.
