Easing In

I’ve been back for just over a week after my trip to Japan and Hong Kong. I went straight back to work about 18 hours after my flight for a week and it really took its toll. I’m exhausted, and my skin is still crappy from the flight. But looking through my photo’s from my trip is making me all kinds of happy, and also making me want to go straight back!

I’ve had a bit of time away from the blog, and I’m feeling motivated, and refreshed, and ready to start sharing all my exciting holiday content with you all! But I thought I’d ease in first with a little outfit post.

These photos were taken in Kyoto after a long day that started with a very early train. It was so hot all my make-up had come off, and we could barely walk 100m without needing a drink, or diving into a shop for some air-con.

Kyoto was one of the most beautiful, historic places I’ve ever seen. There was so much to do we couldn’t fit it all in, but I’m so glad we took the time to travel slightly further out of the city centre to Arashiyama and the Bamboo Grove. Despite being very busy with people it was still so peaceful, and we could have spent hours wandering through it, and popping into the temples that were scattered around within it.

But more on that soon…

P.s excuse the trainers – I knew we were going to be doing a lot of walking that day, (including up a mountain!) and didn’t fancy carrying around spare shoes – or wearing any that might make my feet bleed!
