Well to be honest March hasn’t really been my month in a lot of ways. I came down with a bad cough, cold, flu-type bug at the beginning of the month, and then I really struggled to get any kind of motivation back until about last week. But. For that reason this post is all the more important, as there is no better time to think about the good than when your brain is telling you there is none so here goes.
Catching up with old friends, and seeing them being super successful! This month, I’ve spent a lot of time seeing old friends from university that I just don’t see often enough. It is hard once you graduate to see people as often as you would like because everyone starts getting on with their own lives, and people are busy. But it doesn’t mean you have to lose touch, and it doesn’t mean that you aren’t friends anymore. I recently met up with some friends I haven’t seen since the beginning of 2014! I know, and we went to see another friends show, that was on at a pretty important theatre. She wrote it, and performed it, and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy that someone I count as my friend was able to do that. It also gave me the motivation to get my bum back in gear and start working again. I’ve also seen two other friends being brilliant in plays this month, and it makes me happy, that we are all working and doing what we love, however hard this bitch of an industry can be.
Easter Chocolate significantly less important than the above, but I’ve been really appreciating and making the most of creme and mini egg season. Temporary chocolate is just the best chocolate and that is a fact.
Easter holidays have begun. Although this is in someways terrifying because oh my god a whole month without earning money I may die. But I’ve decided to use the time to really focus on my career goals, it will free me up to, (in the words of RhiRhi) work, work, work, work, work. Which is what I really need to do at the moment, so pray to the motivation gods for me that I can be productive.
JAPAN most excitingly. I booked my summer holiday, and I’m going to be buggering off to Hong Kong and Japan for 10 days. It’s not enough time, I wish I could stay out there forever. The more research I do, the more I am already tempted to book another trip out there, but that’s probably a bit excessive before I’ve even been. I can tell I’m going to absolutely love it, and I just can’t wait.
#IGChat I finally plucked up the courage to start my Instagram chat. I’ve been thinking about it for a while, so it feels good to finally have a plan in place, and a start date. If you haven’t heard about it, you can read all about it here. The first chat will be on the 3rd April. (SUNDAY!) at 6pm GMT.
